How is BestHire different from an ATS like Greenhouse or Lever?
ATS assumes you have a hiring department: stages, scorecards, approvals, recruiters to coordinate. BestHire assumes you are a founder hiring between everything else. Post the role, see ranked candidates with evidence, pick who to call.
Can I hire for a role I am not an expert in?

How long is the AI interview, and will candidates actually complete it?

How much does BestHire cost?

Can I cancel anytime, and what happens to my data?
Yes, you can cancel anytime. No contracts or exit fees. Since BestHire is GDPR compliant, your data is encrypted and never shared with anybody. We hold it for 180 days in case you come back, and after that we delete your data permanently after giving you a notice.
Does the AI decide who gets hired?
No — and it never will. BestHire is decision support: it interviews applicants, verifies their CV claims, and ranks a shortlist with cited evidence. It never auto-rejects anyone, and the hiring decision is always yours.
How does the AI interview work?
After a candidate uploads their CV and clears your screening questions, they take a 5-minute recorded interview. Questions are generated in real time from your job description and the claims on that specific CV — so each interview probes what that candidate actually wrote.
Does BestHire analyze faces, voices, or accents?
Never. Analysis is transcript-only: we evaluate what was said, not how it was said. No facial expression scoring, no voice tone analysis, no biometric inference. Candidates give consent before every interview.
How are candidates ranked?
Candidates land in Tier 1, 2, or 3 — or Unranked when a hard requirement is missing. Every verdict (Strong, Partial, or Gap) cites the exact CV line and interview quote behind it. There are no composite scores or fit percentages anywhere.
What file formats do you support?
PDF and DOCX resumes, including scanned PDFs (we fall back to OCR). Candidates apply through a public link — no account or app install required on their side.
Can I export my shortlist?
Yes. Export the full run as CSV (rank, tier, per-requirement verdicts, and evidence) or the shortlist as a PDF — one page per candidate with the evidence trail included. Useful for sharing with co-founders or moving finalists into an ATS.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
